Journals Exhibitions 2012 at BIBF & Beyond Spreading
knowledge around China Immediate Opportunities
to Promote your Publications in China...
your scholarly journals and resources to be part of a specialised
tour of China, visiting four major cities, including the BIBF -
Overseas Periodical Show. The Academic Journals Exhibitions (AJE)
road show will promote journals and databases from international
publishers to scholars and librarians in Mainland China. The AJE
runs from June to September; sign up your journals and other titles
before April 30th to be included.
The China National
Publications Import & Export Corporation (CNPIEC)., the longest
established and largest publications import and export corporation
in China covering approximately 60% of the Chinese print subscription
market, hosts BIBF and will again co-host this sixth AJE with The
Charlesworth Group.
In addition to displays and events at
BIBF, the Academic Journals Exhibitions will also include Wuhan,
Shanghai and Shenzhen. These cities are well known for their history,
culture and educational resources. The exhibitions will be located
in renowned university libraries or in public libraries. Spending
a week in each city, the tour will enable publishers to introduce
their academic content to an audience of prominent academics and
key librarians invited with complimentary admission. CNPIEC will
conduct educational seminars, as well as allow opportunities for
publisher sponsored seminars, on topics such as journal publishing,
e-journal access, and electronic archiving at the optional in-conference
meeting.
The AJE will give your international publications
a presence at the main annual event for academic publications in
China, BIBF, and the following tour spreads this impact around China.
The tour will add further value with a program of seminars and discussion
groups with scholars and librarians. Qualified staff from CNPIEC
knowledgeable in your titles will be on hand to answer questions
